Questions about modules

The lecturers of the module should be the first contact person for questions regarding the module organization. The module leaders and module organizers of the modules can be found in the respective module descriptions.

Student Service Center (SSC)

For students and prospective students, the SSC offers a central service point on campus. In addition to general counseling, the SSC answers questions about enrollment and offers coaching and help with doubts about studying.

Student and examination administration (SPV)

Your contact person for examination matters is Mr. Schikora of the Student and Examination Administration (SPV). This includes questions about transcript errors, certificates, etc.

Examination Office

The examination board ensures compliance with the examination regulations, recognizes academic achievements and assigns the topics of the Master's and Bachelor's theses. Inquiries or applications are submitted to the chairman of the examination committee.

Student Council

The Student Council stands up for the interests of the students. It also provides students with advice and support (e.g. on Discord) and welcomes any assistance and suggestions. For more information, please visit the pages of the Biology Student Council.

Technical questions

In case of problems with the allocation of modules, please contact the support of the LSF. The ZIM is the contact for other technical problems and can help, for example, with technical difficulties with the university ID or setting up a VPN.

Study abroad

The International Office of HHU will be happy to assist you with all questions regarding studying/interning abroad, especially with questions regarding financial support (Erasmus, DAAD, Freemover,...).

Orientation tutorials

The orientation tutorials are offered by students for students and provide information and support for a successful start to your studies. Here you can ask all your questions about studying.
